ACCREDITATION

The Branch Christian School meets all of the requirements for graduation established by the Department of Education for the State of South Carolina.  Additionally, the school is amid the process for full accreditation through AdvancED, whose accreditation divisions include the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI).

TUITION AND ASSOCIATED COSTS FOR 2012-2013

  • The annual tuition for 2012-2013 is $5000.00.
  • Full tuition payment: $5000.00 due at the beginning of the academic year.
  • Bi-annual payment: $2500.00 due at start of first semester; $2500.00 due at start of second semester.
  • Monthly payment: $500.00 per month for ten months (August-May). Please note: First month payment is non-refundable.
  • Annual book fee: $200.00 (non-refundable), payable at the beginning of academic year.
  • School registration fee: $100.00 (non-refundable), payable at the beginning of academic year.

ELIGIBILITY AND ENROLLMENT

The Branch Christian School will be accepting applications from young men attending seventh, eighth, and ninth grade levels, ten students per class (2012—2013).  As the school’s program consists of rigorous academics and comprehensive biblical studies, we actively seek responsible self-starting students with an absolute passion for learning in a demanding, but exciting, unique, and advanced academic program and method.

Definitive candidate profile: Branch School students are characteristically dedicated to participation in a provocative and enlivened course of study.  Thereto, such students should already have a commitment to maturing in Christ, a desire to better understand the scriptures, and a yearning for the excitement of practical Christian living.  The Branch School experience is unlike any other.

The process toward acceptance to The Branch School begins with interviewing, and completion of an academic index.  Students will be notified of status once evaluations have been concluded, usually within 24 to 48 hours.  Due to the limited number of students admissible, it is recommended that interested candidates apply as soon as possible.  This relates to allowable physical space available within the school, as well as to our ability to properly provide the maximum benefits of this specific study program.

HOMESCHOOLING ACADEMIC ASSISTANCE POD COURSES

The Branch Christian School offers 45-minute academic pod courses during regular school hours to assist homeschooling students who may require scholastic support beyond what their program provides.  The process for eligibility and enrollment of homeschooling students replicates that of traditional students.  Thereto, such students can also benefit from the same teaching and learning methodology the school offers.

Tuition for the homeschooling pod courses is offered on a per class basis.

Students are able to attend the classes needed at a cost of $500.00 per class, per semester, earning one-half credit, or, $1000.00 per class, per year, earning one full-course credit for successful completion.

Students are also offered half-semester classes at a cost of $250.00 per class, per half-semester, earning one-quarter credit for successful completion.

Courses available include World and U.S. History, Mathematics (various), Literature, College Preparatory English, Creative Writing, Art, and French.

This is a unique opportunity for area homeschooling students needing assistance in the completion of courses, required for graduation, by the State of South Carolina.
